Thanks again for making the beach shack available for our use - we had a great time and have completely fallen in love with the place! Now to find some way to work from KI

Just wanted to say that we LOVED the stay at the Beach Shack!
So peaceful and relaxing!
We will definately be back again one day and hopefully stay again at the shack.

Thanks, we had a lovely stay at the shack.
It was peaceful and we were able to drive around the island and get some sightseeing done, even in the short time available to us.
The shack is very comfortable and no, nothing needs attention. All OK from our perspective.
Pamphlets and brochures were helpful; the TV works…
Chris was able to get some riding exercise! Bikes are a great idea.
Maybe we can return some time?
Cheers,
Fotini and Chris

I am pleased you found my blog, I actually wrote two King Island posts…one about our holiday generally and one specifically about your shack. Hopefully you found them both.
We had such a lovely time, I hope we can return one day.
Please link up to your website, that would make me very happy!
Kind regards
Jane

When you choose a place based mainly on the fact it had an iPod Bose speaker system without checking much else, you might have been taking a risk that the rest of the place, No risk at all. It was a veritable beach shack as the name suggests, but with just about enough mods and cons ... the ladies had to go out and buy a hair-dryer, which was left behind for the next guests ... but the coffee making facilities were great and we listened to a lot of good music.

Thanks so much Warwick and guests! We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at our beach shack and on King Island. We are often amazed with some of the items that may sway someone's decision to stay .....from the Bose sound system, to the rustic kitchen, or the beautiful piano. We'll be sure to now add the hair dryer to our list too!!
Thanks again, JP and Anna-Lisa Darby

The Beach Shack was comfortable, cozy, complete and welcoming and could even watch the cricket on the satellite tv. comfortable beds. Made good use of the BBQ and King Is cheese. Handy to the wharf and beach walks, the calmer side of the island. Had fun fishing on the wharf with fishing gear provided and caught 2 salmon when we finally bought bait. Saw about 70 birds, travelled all over the island and enjoyed the views, rock hopping, beach walks, learning the history, especially the ship wrecks. Something for the whole family to do. A bit cool for swimming, but hey better than Melbourne's stifling 35C. Basic provisions on arrival but sop in Currie before coming to Naracoopa as there are no shops close by. Highly recommended by teen boys, Mom, Dad, and Canadian/Queensland Aunty. Thanks
